ERGAKI MEETING. Important Information.

Dear friends,

We are glad, that you'll be arriving to Ergaki soon.

We would like to give you some information about your trip.

аbout Visa

First of all, we'd like to make sure that you are recieved your entrance visas to Russia.

This question is very important: could you please inform as in what status is your visa procedure now?

Whethaer you've already applied it or not applied ar visa is a issued.

We have changes in your invitations, that's why we have to know this information exactly.

transfer

As you khow Ergaki is 600 km from Krasnojarsk.

So far, there are two transfers arranged from Krasnojarsk to Ergaki, 4 and 5 June in the morning. It takes 10 houres to get to the base camp.

If there is an extra transfer needed, we could arange it. What is why we are waiting for your ticet's details for planing transfer. However, we would prefer to pick every one up on the June 4 and 5.

accomodation

There is a tent accomodation in the base camp.

Food is provided in the base camp,

however all the additional food for ascents could be bought on the way to Ergaki.  You should take with you tent and gas-stove or milti-fuel stove. Gas and fuel is provided in the base camp either.

equipment for climbing

Ergaki is spectacular place for rock-climbing with diffrent routs (faсes and walls about 500 m).  What is why you scould take to this area sets of nuts, camalots, camming devices, pitons, etc. If you own a radio transmitter which works on 136-172 waves we would kindly ask to bring them with you.

Syberia

Please notice that since Ergaki is located in Syberia, there is an insect allert there. Also, there are bears there. They are not a real danger, but you should be very careful.

additional information

There will be an interpreter in the base camp.

We will try to make sure to provide guides until the ascent start point.

Guide books on Russian are provided. They countain detailed plans and pictures based on UIAA.

Over all, we will make sure that your trip will be fullfillins and successful and we will provid the best service we are able to.
